I BuiLD THINGS. EVERY DAY.
Some of them are good. Some of them break. Half of them, I'd probably be better of going to bed early and not making them at all.
But every single one of them is a proof point. Every single one says "Jenny had an idea AND Jenny was brave enough to try and make it real."
I spent 17 years in advertising. 99% of my ideas never made it out of a deck. Day in and day out I was told that ideas are cheap. That execution is all that matters.
How wonderful that we don't have to choose any more.
People love reading about AI. They love talking about AI.
But you can't learn to ride a bike by watching Youtube videos. You can't nail a yoga headstand by reading posts about people's badass three-minute no hands headstands.
Like everything in life, the best way to learn is by doing. Actually, no. The best way to learn is by trying and failing and then trying again.
I've never used AI to write my emails. I'd rather use it as a partner to help make my weird dreams come true. 60% of my work never makes it out of my local machine. But I'll take that over 99% never making it out of the presentation room.
Stop reading. Stop watching. Just...do it. (Turns out, the old masters have wisdom worth remembering.)
